Here are some pictures taken of ground zero, after the two towers collapsed. It looks like any other normal building site, but of course is in effect, a mass grave.


This is part of the antenna, which was positioned at the top of Tower 1.

Two pieces of mangled metal, in the shape of a cross. Firefighters said it gave them hope.

This is what the south tower looked like after its collapse. A 60ft trench was left in Liberty Street.

This is the North Tower, after it collapsed. The Firefighters commented on how the tower had collapsed in on itself, making the cleanup operation a little easier

These were PATH Cars, which happened to run under the World Trade Centre. One of these was to be salvaged from the debris for a proposed museum piece.

The massive spherical sculpture, positioned at the Plaza, which connected the two entrances to each tower.

The people try to escape the pyroclastic type colud of dust and debris when the first tower fell.
